Corrins Hill
From ManxWiki
Corrins Hill is a hill immediately south of Peel on the west coast of the Isle of Man.
The summit is 148 metres high and nearby is a 4ft high concrete pillar known as a triangulation point (somewhat unusually not on the summit of the hill - see below).
A number of paths run up the hill from Peel and the hill sits on the long distance coastal path Raad ny Foillan (Way of the Gull)
On a fine day there are commanding views over Peel, the castle, harbour and St Patrick's Isle.
Corrins Tower sits on the summit of the hill, a 50ft (15 mts) high tower built in 1806 by Thomas Corrin in rememberance of his wife who died in childbirth (see exteral link).
