An Infobox is simply a bordered table containing an image and a piece of text about that page. Infoboxes are inserted into pages using double curly brackets containing the infobox title.

IncompleteArticle

Use {{IncompleteArticle}} to insert:

This article is incomplete and requires additional information.


This Infobox is used to a page is created but the content is incomplete.

eg. Route Maps created over a number of days, or article placeholders were created with minimal content, where the creater intends to return at a later date, or is inviting others to spot and fill in the missing pieces.

Disambig

Use {{Disambig}} to insert:

This page offer multiple Article choices for the reader based on similar titles.

This Infobox is used to indicate that the may be a duplication of titles. eg. Ellan Vannin could be:

  • Ellan Vannin (Manx)
  • Ellan Vannin (Ship)
  • Ellan Vannin (Poem)
  • Ellan Vannin (Song)

Disambig should only be used where each instance merits its own page. Brackets are used to clarify the subject.

Note: Where Ellan Vannin forms part of a title, eg "Ellan Vannin Gymnastics Club" no brackets are required, the page would be titled in the normal format.
