The M.V. Karina is a pleasure cruise ship owned by Captain Stephen Carter of the Laxey Towing Company offering seasonal trips around the island with full commentaries.

  • Power: Diesel engine @ 127 bhp at 1,500 rpm

  • Capacity: 100 passengers and 5 crew

Miscellaneous

Brought to the island in 2001, renamed "Karina" after a Manx built ship of 1913. Fully equipped with the latest safety equipment, toilet, snack bar, covered saloon accommodation and large open deck space. Private parties and charters welcome.

Routes

Most trips start from the Villiers Steps near the Bottleneck Car Park on Loch Promenade in Douglas or the Battery Pier steps in Douglas Harbour.

Single and return trips are available to Laxey, Port Soderick, Ramsey, Derbyhaven, Castletown and Dhoon Bay.
