Nivison Stadium
Nivison Stadium is the track and sports field formally known as Onchan Stadium. it was renamed on 10th July 2004 after the late Hon. J.A.C.K. Nivison CBE former commissioner who worked tirelessly to see the park and stadium established.
The banked track is a former cycle velodome that opened in time for the 1951 International Cycle Week. In 1961 the velodome hosted a world cycling championship and a women's championship which brought competitors from all over the world.
The stadium has been used for stockcar racing since 1969, with Arrive and Drive Go Karts operating during the summer.
The stadium and football pitch are home to Onchan Football Club
