Geography
Peel is situated in the west of the island alongside the River Neb with Peel Hill which was previously part of the Knockaloe Estate to the south and a rocky headland to the north. A curving sandy beach and promenade frame the west side of the city and to the east is the Central Valley.
At the mouth of the harbour is St. Patrick's Isle which is joined by a man made causeway that has resulted in the formation of Fenella Beach. St. Patrick's Isle is home to Peel Castle
